Cosmetology: Cos Transition into Esthetics

  • Overview: Bridging the gap for cos esthetics services. Step by step guide for taking esthetics appointments in the student spa area. You will learn the importance of the waiver forms and where to find them. We will review important information listed on travelers, go over how to prepare your room for the booked service, discuss the process of check ins with an instructor and where to find the laminated skin evaluation forms, we will review proper product usage and dispensing with the supervision of an instructor, how to end the service and grab an instructor for the final check out, how to make suggestions for home care and retail, and we will end with how to flip the room after the service to make sure it is restocked and disinfected for the next student service.
  • Prerequisite: Completion of Cos Esthetics Skin Week.
