At Oliver Finley, our students receive practical and technical education in their field of specialization, as well as instruction in basic business principles. These business essentials include: building clientele, promoting a business, managing others, and managing finances.

In addition to standard course work, our students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of distinctive programs geared toward
improving expertise and confidence. Students will have the opportunity to participate in photo shoots of their work that they can then submit
to beauty industry magazines, as well as include in their portfolio for potential employers and clients. Qualified students can volunteer for
positions on the Special Events Team where they can be involved in the promotions of the Academy through career fairs, shows, and community
service events.

The Oliver Finley Academy of Cosmetology was founded on the principles of quality education and an innovative training experience. The entire staff takes great pride in keeping our students challenged. It is our goal to instill in Oliver Finley graduates the same knowledge, technical mastery, and enjoyment that has permeated our careers so our students have the confidence and skills necessary to work anywhere they choose–Boise, New York, Los Angeles, or anywhere in between.

We offer innovative first-class licensing programs in Cosmetology, Nail Technology and Esthetics. We also provide an Educator Course for licensed practitioners interested in obtaining an Instructor’s License in their specialty area.

The Oliver Finley Academy of Cosmetology offers an exceptional education in all aspects of the exciting and lucrative beauty industry. Our goal
is to empower our students to become creative, well-trained professionals with cutting-edge expertise. To do that, we offer a unique and innovative curriculum that focuses on both theoretical and hands-on training.
